Anybody else riding on Saturday? I'm excited about the event but the weather could suck. I rode last year during a rainy stretch and although the trail dries out quickly, riding during a downpour is not fun.

I was riding west to east a few years ago not knowing about this rolling party going west. Looked fun except for the distracted families with double wide baby carts and less experienced trail riders stopped in the middle of the trail. Weather was wet that year too.

I am wondering about the trail conditions too for Ped Jam. With rain nearly everyday this week does anyone know what the trail is like?

I don't think there is anything to worry about. Because it is crushed limestone and has been down for 25+ years, the trail surface can take a whole bunch of water and still be very hard (and quite rideable) even when it is wet. It is also my experience that it dries in a matter of hours. But if it makes you happy, and because of the nature of Pedaler's Jamboree, I'd be more inclined to use larger, more comfortable tires, no matter what the condition of the trail.

Thanks for posting this! I was sitting here trying to decide which bike to bring (heavy commuter with fat tires versus road/hybrid). I was torn and needed someone to tell me what to do.

Rising Missouri River something to watch for. Trail may be closed by Sunday near Boonville / Rocheport area. https://mostateparks.com/page/58843/potential-flood-locations
