Thanksgiving Week??? on 11/22/2015 2:15:59 PM:
Looking at the forecast - things look pretty good for a couple days of riding Thanksgiving week. I'm thinking about taking a day and riding from Boonville down to Hartburg and back.

I am assuming that (outside of Boonville and perhaps the store downtown Rocheport) nothing will be open along the trail - including the trailheads.

Is that a safe assumption?

Thanks for any thoughts or local information.

Go to the homepage on this website, scroll down to the section on Trail Conditions. You'll see a tab about bathrooms winterized. Click on that and there is helpful information about where bathrooms are available, and which ones are closed for the winter. Enjoy your ride. Oh, and be sure to check the local weather forecasts. I am in Jefferson City and it is cold here with wind. I think they are calling for rain on Thanksgiving here, but I don't know about the part of the trail you will be on.

Thanks! Forecast looks pretty good for Tuesday. That's kind of what I am shooting for. Thanks again for the tip about the bathroom winterization, etc.
