If any of the trail people are in the area, stop at the Mokane Bar and Grill. That was the best cheese burger we ever had and it was under priced. The place was clean and the bartender Mel was awesome with great service. There were a few locals in the bar at the same time and they were really friendly. They will also fill water bottles for free or have bottle water for purchase.

Sounds like a place we need to stop. Up until Lucy's closed (McBaine), I felt her hamburgers were the best. This summer will be on a search for a new best....will have to stop at Mokane!
