There are no "No Smoking" rooms in this motel. We were going to stay there upon the
recommendations at this site, but when we walked into the office, even that smelled of
smoke. Lesson learned: before booking a room, be sure to ask if there are "No Smoking"
accommodations.

there is a room for no smoking but the others are smoking all you have to do is ask for a non smoking room and you will get it

this place is not bad its like home away from home not to far from a grocery store, gas station, dollar store, laundry mat or the casino and the rates for here are not bad they are affordable checking the manager, housekeeping is there to meet your needs if you need to stay there they have reasonable rates from nightly, weekly, or monthly your choice but very reasonable rate I recommend if you need some thing go to 610 w. Ashley road Booneville, Missouri its relaxing.....

Nice Stay! Only $30 for a room...included microwave, refrigerator and cable tv. A short ride from the Katy Trail. Hard to beat for the price.

We arrived in Boonville during the graduation weekend for the Univ. of Missouri and the only place that had a room was the Homestead Motel. It is an older motel, but we were pleasantly surprised. It's good value for the cost which was only $32 for two people!

I've stayed at Homestead Motel; and it is not that difficult to get to. You exit the trail at Sombart Road (actually you have clamber down from the overpass; but no big deal). This is approximately mile 193, 1 1/4 miles west of downtown Boonville. Westbound from downtown Boonville, turn left; eastbound from Sedalia, turn right. Go to the T at W. Ashley Road and turn left. It is on the right. Total miles: 0.28.

The address listed for the Homestead Motel, I-70 @ hwy 5, is misleading, making is look like it is on the interstate. The actual address seems to be 610 W Ashley Road, much closer to town and to my liking. Ashley Road is also Mo. 5 and US 40.
