If you need a nice, clean place to stay that is right off the trail, I would highly recommend the Hartburg Inn. Cath went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. She had a cold beverage for us when we got off the trail at 6:00 PM and eve...

If you need breakfast while you are in Hartsburg, you will definitely want to stop in at Dotty's Cafe. She makes great omelets and unbelievable blueberry pancakes that are as big as the plate they are serve on. Awesome job Dotty! It was all great!

We are open all winter, Thursday through Sunday 7am til 2pm. we will serve breakfast til 2pm everyday, except on Sunday. we will stop breakfast at 11am, only because we have to be ready for church lunch. thanks to you all, and Happy New Year!! Dotty

I just talked to the owner of the Peers Store and she said they closed their doors two Sundays ago from this date. She stated a grocery store opened in Marthasville and took away their business. :(

We went here because we had purchased a discount certificate through our local AddSheet. We weren't impressed at all. The waitress was pretty short with us (until she brought the check and then she was all smiles) and the food was ok but over price...
