Wheeling for Healing is a charity bike ride across the entire length of the Katy & Rock Island Trail sponsored by the Missouri DAR that takes place on September 30, 2017, 8 am til 2 pm. All proceeds from this ride will be divided between the Wounded Warrior Project and DAR's Project Patriot. The first event was held in 2015 and raised $45,000.
Participants can enter and exit at any point along the Katy Trail and the Rock Island Spur. There will be a SAG station at every trailhead. All registered riders will receive a T-shirt and swag bag and can also purchase a commemorative jersey.
