After the recent storms, I've been alerted to a couple of fallen trees blocking the trail as of Wednesday 6/27:

"About one hour ago we came across a tree completely across the trail. It was located approximately 3 miles south of the McBain access point and approximately 150 yards south of the Overlook access point for Eagle Bluffs Overlook."

"There is a large tree down across the trail just east of the Weldon Springs Trail head"

MO State Parks is usually pretty quick about cleaning up these issues, but just letting you all know...
