Wife and I rode down to Clinton from Windsor today after heavy rains overnight. Generally, the trail surface was pretty good with only a few soft spots. Going down to Clinton, we did have to carry the bikes over downed trees in two spots. One between mile marker 252 & 253. And I can’t remember the other spot. We had to wait out a thunderstorm storm with heavy rain while in Clinton in a good lady’s barn. When heading back however, there were many more downed trees across the trail. Some were quite challenging to carry our bikes across and even through a few.
