Hi,
We’re going to bike the Kady Trail this September.
On past trips I’ve taken a hammock. Are there trees on the camp sites that would warrant a hammock or should I bring a tent?

Thanks for your observations!

I would suggest some sort of rain protection, if not a full tent, then a tube tent or plastic sheet. Rain pattern is about the same as in your area. A friend used a hammock in Pilot Grove (tied to posts in picnic shelter), Hartsburg (trees near trailhead greenspace), and Augusta (between uprights in shelter over table in campground). Overall, its sort of hit or miss for a hammock.
