They still have the page up for the 2017 ride. You can find the costs as you scroll through the page. https://mostateparks.com/2017ktride

I have done the ride several times over the past 10 or so years and I do highly recommend it. It is very well run with plenty of support at a reasonable price. The costs have risen over the past few years, but what hasn't? Both the riders and the staff are very nice. The staff has tons of experience and the trail is groomed to its finest for the ride.

I have volunteered for the Katy Ride support since around 2010? I think. It is a well organized ride and is a good way for people to enjoy the trail without worrying about the logistics. There are many people that are repeat riders every year, which I consider a testament to the quality of the ride organization. If you are new to the trail, you will get a good orientation to the services along the trail and will be much better equipped to plan you own independent rides.

I've ridden it the last 7 years and plan on doing it again in 2018.

The last few years I've been using Padre's Tent Service. In my opinion, it's worth the money. I've stayed at hotels a few nights over the years and that can be OK, especially if there's bad weather, but I feel disconnected from the experience when I do it. Of course I've brought my own tent a few years, and that's fine also - if you have a good tent.
