We are planning to ride during 2017 Columbus Day weekend but it has been raining all week. Will the trail be difficult to tide when wet

Generally speaking, the trail is constructed in a manner, and with materials, that allow it to dry very quickly. This is an old RR roadbed so it is not dirt, but built up of well drained rock surfaced with lighter gravel and dust. Under some conditions a thin layer of wet dust will be present on the top that will slow you down a bit. This usually dries in about a day of sunshine. If there has been heavy rain check for flooding, although that is usually earlier in the year.

It is never wet enough that there is a tide. High or low. ; }
