Hi, I'm planning on riding the Rock Island Trail from Pleasant Hill to Windsor. How is the condition of the trail? I know there is very little along the trail. Any tips or advice? Thanks

There is relatively minor damage here and there due to recent heavy rains. It's nothing to worry about, but the surface is slightly degraded in places. Other than that, the trail is in good shape. I've done PH to Windsor, that is a good ride, roughly 47 miles. There are services in Chilhowee and Leeton along your way. Little to nothing from PH to Chilhowee. Windsor, of course, has services as well. As far as advice, now is a perfect time since the heat isn't that bad. Remember to hydrate even when you aren't thirsty, and eat small snacks regularly.
