Why haven't Great Rivers Greenway fixed the water fountain that's at the parking lot here??? So absurd since there's a WATER treatment plant *right there* ... and it'd be a huge help to us thirsty riders and runners (and dogs!) who need a drop of nature's nectar! Does anyone know?

You would probably be more effective if you went to the the Great Rivers Greenways web site and contacted them directly than posting here in the Katy Trail comments forum section.

I do not believe your comments will be heard if you are just a "spur". Also on isolated spurs runners, bikers and pets are supposed to carry extra water.

First, the OP was just asking if anyone knew anything. I doubt if the OP is expecting action from Great Rivers Greenway in response to the post.

Second, the "spur" comment doesn't apply. The connector where the water fountain is located is on one of the Great Rivers Greenways.

You can "saw sawdust" all day. Connectors, greenways, are spurs off the Katy Trail.
