Hi all,
I plan on biking the Katy Trail from Saint Louis (Machens) to Pleasant Hill (near KC) on the Rock Island spur. However, I'm finding difficulty with shuttles or rental cars that would enable me to either drive or catch a train back to St. Louis. Has anybody done this trip before and found a way to get back solo without relying on someone you know to pick you up for the home trip?

The train stops in Lees Summit about 15 miles from Pleasant Hill, you could just ride it after staying in PH for the evening.

Have a great trip.

Scott,
Contact the Touring Cyclist in St Louis, They can shuttle you from Pleasent Hill back to the STL.

They are not far from the St Louis Airport as well.

My friends and I are riding from Belton, MO (Kansas Border) across MO to STL and The Touring Cyclist is shuttling us. Ask for Susan, she is really polite and will work with you

Enjoy the Ride

Scott, How about a turnaround an double the ride? Save all that drive planning.
You can do it!

I wish I could turn around and ride back, but I don't have the time since I'll be flying out of the country on the 4th!
