Considering a ride starting in Pleasant Hill, eventually linking up with Amtrak in Sedalia and back to KC. It would be the next day until I could get back to PH to pick up my car. Anyplace safe and allowable to park a car for a day in PH? Thank you.

FYI for anyone coming across this, I messaged the city on their facebook page and they replied that I could park near the police station downtown.

I haven't left a car in PH yet but the procedure I use is to call the tourist info center or community center, to see if they recommend a place, then call the police and tell them where and how long I am leaving car. I have never had a problem using this procedure. I am sure the PH people will be happy to have trail users in their community and be very obliging.

Update. I parked near the police station in downtown PH. Inquired inside if that was OK first, and they said yes. Returned next day to pick up my car and it was undisturbed. Thank you to the city of PH and the PH police department for being so gracious about me leaving my car overnight.
