Good to know. I'm going to try to ride it in 2017.

Jim from St Thomas on 12/3/2016 11:43:38 AM:
Just to be clear, there is only a small portion of the Rock Island Trail that can be ridden. It will be years before the whole trail will be finished.

REQUESTING INFO: Can we now go to Pleasant Hill, park/leave the car, and ride all the way to the Katy at Windsor? If so, where do you leave the car?

I'm guilty of not keeping up, but last I heard, bridges were not all complete and trail was pretty rough.

There is facebook page Rock island/mopac trails that seems to have current info, people have been riding from Purvis road to Windsor for a while. The incomplete bridges were between Purvis rd and Pleasant Hill but were nearing completion. Purvis road is close to PH.
