How safe is the parking lot in Mokane to leave a vehicle over night??? Was reading some negative comments on leaving one overnight at Jefferson City Trailhead!!! Suggestions in the area of Jeff City or Mokane areas???

We have left vehicles in the state parking lots on Main Street just west of the Capitol Building. If you get there before 7:00 am or after 5:00 pm on weekdays you can find a spot under one of the lights. On weekends its pretty well open.

It is safe to park a car at the Methodist Church parking lot in Tebbetts MO. Tebbetts is 13 miles east of Jefferson City Trail Head and 6 Miles west of Mokane.
