What were these buildings? Stopped off the trail to explore these abandoned buildings between Matson and Augusta. They're right off the trail. A couple of them look like old concession stands or snack shacks of some sort. One large shed had a sign on it for an antique store, but I can't remember the names on it. Location is viewable on Google maps.

I believe that it was like a farmer's market, antique store, place where the kids could ride ponies, etc. Evidently it was a commercial failure. I remember going by it a few years ago when it wasn't in such disrepair.

There's an old classic car in that barn too. Could be worth something?

I believe you mean "My Grandpas Farm". It used to be a small attraction for the trail, as the above comment states, and was a sort of carnival for trail goers. I believe it was sold, then abandoned. Now sadly, I believe the main barn has burned down somehow. I can't think of any other abandoned buildings near Matson. Hope this helps!

Yeah, I ride past this section a lot. The barn burned down sometime this summer. The car inside it was a mid 90's Dodge Stealth R/T...might have been worth something at one point but not anymore. Seems like it could have been a pretty fun little attraction while it was in operation. Looks like it's been abandoned for at least 10 years.
