Not trying to be an a$$ here but you didn't just grab a dog that you saw wandering around the trailhead did you?

We were there for most of the day and the dog never left. I checked with several of the residents and no one recognized the dog. One man told us that people dump dogs there all the time. Coyotes were spotted along the trail and I was very concerned about the little dog's safety. He was also running toward the back wheels of cars and that was also a concern.
