I am 62 years old and am planning on walking the end of September from Agusta to Huntsdale (Columbia). I only want to walk around 18-20 miles/day and find that lodging is not always available in those increments. I am looking for someone who can pick me up when I finish hiking in the afternoon, take me to housing ( which hopefully is near a restaurant and some sort of store so I can purchase lunch food) and deliver me back to the trail in the morning. Ideally, that person would have an extra room in their house that I could rent but if not, I would go to a B & B or hotel. I, of course, would be willing to pay for all of this. Does anyone know of someone who could do this for all or part of my journey?
