We are staying at the Rivercene Mansion when we ride through Booneville. Are we going to be within walking distance to restaurants? Our trip is the end of September

It is across the river from the town of Boonville. Don't know exactly where it is, but looking at the map it looks to be about a mile up and over the bridge or about 20 minute walk to Glenn's at the Hotel Frederick.

It's a nice walk over the bridge (safe, separated walkway) with lots of restaurants on the other side. Of course, there is always Snoddy's general store right there which also serves made-to-order sandwiches.

We looked into Snoddy's, it's ok for convenience-store snacks...I would walk across the bridge and eat at The Frederick Hotel right on the river. Even if the main restaurant is closed, the bar is terrific and has burgers and such. There is a Tiffany window further down the main street, it's a great evening stroll.

Is that a restaurant in Booneville? The Tiffany Window?

KC from Austin on 8/16/2016 8:55:32 PM:
No it's an ornate stained glass window. The story I heard was it is a Tiffany original, used to be a jeweler's shop. Maybe a local can confirm?

Figured you'd bite on that on pretty quick.
