I have walked the Katy Trail starting in Marthasville heading both east and west. I usually walk and hour then head back when I walk.. It's fun to explore the different routs when walking. One of these days I will get myself a bike and ride and go farther then I usually do when I walk.

I wish I was close enough to walk sections of the trail at a time. You observe a lot more when you walk a trail than when you ride it.

My wife and I like to park at the boat dock near the Klondike trail head off of Hwy 94. We walk the 3.5 miles to Augusta and have a nice lunch, including a beer and glass of wine, then walk back the 3.5 miles to the car. It's really nice in the Spring and Fall when the leaves aren't there to obscure the view of the bluffs.

Good information to have Jerry. It's probably best that you just let us know where and spared us the details. What happens at the boat dock, stays at the boat dock!

Also unobscured view of the bluffs? Which bluffs after some beer and wine? TMI Jerry TMI.

I said "bluff". Not "in the buff". ;-)
