We are taking a family bike ride from Columbia, mo to Hartsburg, mo and I am looking into shuttle options ~ there are 4 of us and 3 bikes (1 is a tandem). Any suggestions of a shuttle that might work for us?

I would start with Marvin Cotton for that area at 660-537-0048

I talked to the guy at KatyBikeRental in Defiance this past weekend, and he said they shuttle cars.

Instead of a "shuttle service", you may want to drop your bikes and passengers off at a Columbia trailhead, then drive your own vehicle to Hartsburg so it will be waiting for you when you arrive, then the driver can simply catch a ride back to the trailhead to join the others. For that, you could use a taxi service.

I'd start with Rick's, (573) 449-6282
or Tiger Taxi (573) 256-8294

Call and ask if they will pick you up in Hartsburg. My guess is yes.

The other shuttle services are miles away. The drive to Hartsburg, BTW, is about 20 to 25 minutes from downtown Columbia.

Not sure where you are starting from in Columbia, but if you have no preference, I'd suggest the main MKT trailhead downtown on Forth Street. Have a big breakfast at the Broadway Diner across the street, then set out. First mile or so is really nice, with numerous tunnels, bridges, etc. But be advised, once you leave downtown, you won't see another place to eat until Cooper's Landing, so pack some snacks. Seems odd to be so isolated from civilization while in the middle of a town of 100,000, but it is.
