We are planning a trip in late September and looking to bring the RV. Are there campgrounds with hooks ups anywhere on the or near the trail ? Even within an hours drivings distance to the trail is doable. Any section is an option, but plan most of riding to be between Boonville and Weldon Springs.

Katy Roundhose at New Frankilin , Katfish Katy's at Hunstdale, and Coopers Landing at Easley all have hookups and places to park. I'm sure there are more. If you are planning on a late Sept trip and camping in an RV, be aware that Univ of 'Missouri football game weekends will make it tough to get camping spots. Reservations are highly recommended ASAP.

There may be hook-ups at Portland. I have seen RVs there, and it is within view of the Missouri River.
