My wife and I stayed in the small cabin one night and we wanted to give an update on things since most of the comments here are at least a year old. The cabin was definitely quaint and cozy. However, the food that was offered was nothing more than store bought packaged food. Nothing fresh or special in any way. Cereal, Hostess treats, and Folgers coffee were some examples to give you an idea of what to expect. So, don't come here and expect delightful treats. Maybe they improve during the summer months with fresh produce around, but who knows. The other thing is to bring your spider repellent. We found a couple of brown recluses in the cabin. Some dead and some alive. In conclusion, you can do better in Augusta for the price.

WOW! Is all I can say to this nonsense. We have visited the Little Cabin several times and found it to be clean and we did have fresh fruit, cheese, sausage, juice, milk, cereal all provided for us and all very fresh. The packaged treats were as we were told when we booked our stays. I would suggest to the people who were offended by the spiders to consider this is an original "log cabin" and creatures find their way in. Next time you visit Augusta why don't you pop the big bucks for one of the swanky artificial B & Bs??? PS.. maybe you should list your names so the hosts can reimburse your unhappy visit.
