I was told by someone that runs one of the bed and breakfasts that there is a bus that services the towns along the trail but they couldn't remember the company or how much it cost just that it was cheaper than the shuttle services. Does anyone have more info on this. She said it took a lot longer than the shuttles because they stop at every town. I couldn't find any buses on the web site.

Never seen nor heard of any bus service anywhere around the Katy Trail. There is the Amtrak train service that runs from St. Louis to Sedalia with stops in Washington & Hermann I believe.
