Hello all

I was wanting to know if anyone has camped at Weldon Springs. Seems like a large conservation area. I rode through last fall but it was raining and cold and I had 3 broken spokes so I was hauling butt to ST. Charles.

I don't see Weldon Springs listed on the planner as a camping site but on maps and when I drove through on the way home it is a huge conservation area.

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks

Scott

This is a copy and paste from the Missouri Department of Conservation concerning camping at Weldon Springs:

" Persons traveling the Missouri River by boat may
camp on any suitable site within one hundred (100)
yards of the river and moor overnight adjacent to
camp but outside the navigation channel between
April 1 and Sept. 30" So the answer is no camping for bikers and hikers.

Camping not allowed in Weldon Springs CA with exception of what MidSouth posted. Best camping in the area is at Klondike Park near Augusta.

Not on the list so no camping there.
