Does anybody know of a connector from the Kansas City Metro area to Clinton or Sedalia? I am trying to plan a route to bike the whole trail and am not having much luck. Thanks.

There is no connector or easy way to get from the KC area to Clinton or Sedalia. KC area is not part of the Katy.

Amtrak connects KC Union Station to Sedalia.

If you end up driving to, then riding, I recommend that you park your car either at 1) the Community Center in Clinton(very close to trail head--info on this site on how to do that), or 2) at the college in Sedalia under a light pole (also right off the trail). One of the security guards for the college recommended that to me: He said the lot has cameras, is regularly patrolled, and they are accustomed to people leaving cars for a few days at a time.
