I am wanting to put together a short bike trip for the in-laws. They are what I would call casual bikers- stick to the bike trail, nothing real challenging, take in the scenery ect. I am looking for something with great views/nature, some cute towns, a winery/brewery and restaurant and an overnight at a bed & breakfast. Nothing over the top, if it was fancy they would probably be uncomfortable. If there are other trails or places people would recommend that you think would fit better, it doesn't have to be in Missouri.
Thanks!

McKittrick is lovely. Right on the trail, only two miles from Hermann, where there are lots of wineries, restaurants and a microbrewery. Check out Joey's Birdhouse not too fancy but comfortable and nice and I will make sure your in laws have a great stay.

Either McKitrick or Hartsburg would be a good bet for what you described. I would do McKitrick first as its close to Hermann.

Great views/nature, some cute towns, a winery/brewery and restaurant and an overnight at a bed & breakfast....

Rocheport....a cute town.....a great winery with a bistro that has a great view from the bluffs along I-70 to Boonville.....great views riding along the bluffs and the river...nice B&B's to choose from.....Abigail's restaurant in downtown.....nothing over the top ......all very comfortable.

Hermann.....a cute German town....great views from the hill west of Main Street looking north and east....nice views along the bluffs west through Rhineland and Bluffton....several great wineries including Adam Puchta and Hermanoff....good places to eat including the restaurant at Stone Hill winery (nice tour of the Prohibition Era wine cellar)......B&B's from the best of the best to moderate and affordable.....nothing over the top......all comfortable and fun.

Augusta......a cute little town.....great wineries, both Augusta and their sister winery Montelle (both make very good ice wine)......great views from Montelle's deck at their sunset dinners.....a brewery right on the trail.....several B&B's to choose from......nothing over the top.....all comfortable.

We've migrated to and through these as our top three picks for the views, the welcoming town, the winery and the wine, the good food, and the B&B's.

And there are other trails that are great to ride for varied reasons too....The Raccoon River Trail .....The Root River Trail.....The Elroy Sparta....The Paul Bunyon.....all within easy driving distance from central Iowa.

Ditto to "Trek's" information! Good job Trek making it short and sweet! I've done the whole trail twice. Did B&B's the first time and camped the second.
