We will be staying in Rocheport while biking the Katy Trail and want to go to Les Bourgeois Winery or the A frame. Is this an easy bike ride? or is walking really the only option. It looks like a small town, so I'm assuming it would be difficult to find someone to shuttle us up there. I can walk forever, but will have an older parent with me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There is quite a hill to walk up from the Katy and on the road. We've ridden down the hill and it was a blast on the tandem....haven't ridden or hiked up either hill.

If it were me, I'd ask the inn keeper if they could shuttle me up. It's not uncommon for many to do things like that.

DNR had a stop sleepover at that winery in the 2011 organized ride and there were many tired riders trying to get up that hill to the winery. I would call for a pick-up too if you are not accustom to the "MO rollers".

Here at the School House we offer complementary shuttle service for our overnight bike-only guests. We'd be happy to host you for your upcoming Rocheport stay!

Yates House Bed & Breakfast in Rocheport offers complimentary transportation to and from Les Bourgeois Bistro and A-Frame (outdoor area). Overnight, biking guests only. We take you up and you have your server call us when ready to return.

Thanks all! I checked with our innkeeper and they said they could shuttle us up an back to the restaurant. I am so glad I asked.
