Hi all! I am riding the Katy west to east starting May 4 sometime in the afternoon flexible). I am driving from Tulsa that morning. If anybody will be on the trail at the same time let me know if you want some company. Thanks! Chris

One last check to see if anybody will be on the trail May 4 starting in Clinton. I am ok riding alone, but I thought some company would be nice. Tentative plan is Clinton to Sedalia (late start), Sedalia to Rocheport, Rocheport to Portland, Portland to Augusta, Augusta to Machens then back to St. Charles, St. Charles to Dutzow to Amtrack. I am not opposed to riding the the trail in 2-3 days or an out-and-back either. My wife is out of town for the week so I am just killing time. :)

Have a great trip. I'm a little jealous. Wish I could join you, but work and family won't allow. ENJOY!

Chris, looks like you will have good weather 60-80 in early May is good. Not much open now but it will be nice and solemn. I did it in 2011 about the same time. Check mushy trail Clinton to Boonville? Good luck.

Did Chris make it to the end of his wifeless riding challenge safely? Or did our Amtrak java swallow him up?
