Dawn Fredrickson, Katy Trail Coordinator on 4/4/2014 4:15:05 PM:
After the severe weather over the last couple of days, there are several sections of Katy Trail that have storm damage, including washouts and silt on the trail surface. Use caution around mileposts 61-68 in the Matson to Augusta area; mileposts 80-89 in the Treloar area; mileposts 98-103 in the McKittrick area; milepost 118.6 between Portland and Steedman; mileposts 135-142 between Tebbetts and N. Jefferson; mileposts 193-203 between Boonville and Pilot Grove; and, mileposts 208-215 and mileposts 219-223 near Clifton City. Additionally, there is water over the trail at milepost 151, so trail users are being detoured onto adjacent Hartsburg Bottom Road.

Have any repairs been made to the sections with storm damage?

David from KS on 4/14/2014 2:50:57 PM:
Just rode Sedalia to Pilot Grove & back on 4/12/2014. Repairs are underway on washouts in this stretch. Mostly smoothed out but needing gravel, east of Clifton City. Still rough at about Milepost 218. Otherwise, good trail.
