Me and my buddy are going to do a 3 day trip on the Katy in June. Any advice on a safe place to leave a truck for 3 days? Thanks !!

Start in Clinton, leave car in community center
lot across the street from the trail head. Tell them what you are doing and they will lookout for your car, should be safe, unless you have some really cool wheels.... Just kidding about wheels.

Yeah thats where i normally park and that is the ideal parking situation but I am wanting to see some new parts of the trail. So far I have heard the commuter lot near the trail is the best place to park.

Thanks

I've parked at the trailheads in Sedalia, Boonville, Rocheport, Hartsburg and Tebbetts and never had any problems. I've also used the parking garage near Flat Branch in Columbia. North Jefferson has not got good reviews here and is a bit remote for me.
