Any recommendations for places to stay in Hermann?

We were with a group of 12 riding the Katy Trail and stayed at The Wine Valley Inn in Hermann. It was quite nice! It's not cheap, but it's not the most expensive place in Hermann, either. It is centrally located and within walking distance of most of the restaurants. The innkeepers are friendly, and very accommodating. We ejoyed their courtyard and sitting area in the back. Breakfast was enjoyable and filling the next morning! We would stay there again!

Without knowing any criteria every place in town is recommended. Are you a tight wad or a high roller? Or just a man of few words?

check Heritage Lodging in Hermann. These are actually apartments above a historic building on 1st street. During our stay the rooms were clean and nice. The price ($95) was also good for Hermann. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, stores and bars within walking distance.

We stayed in McKittrick at Meyer Hilltop Farm B&B about a year ago and had a lovely stay. They went out of their way to show hospitality; even transporting us in their car to a Hermann restaurant in the evening; then picking us up after we were finished. The B&B is very clean, well-kept and the breakfast the next morning was fantastic! We would highly recommend it and would return if we were ever in the area again. They aren't listed on this site now but you can find them online at meyerhilltopfarm.com

I tent-camped at the Harmann city park. It's a huge park with nice camping spots near picnic tables, lots of giant trees, a bathroom with showers, and a huge covered pavillion. A youth baseball game was happening in the park's ballfield that evening, so I had some free entertainment. There was a small fee for camping -- I can't remember how much, though.

My wife and I recently road from Sedalia to Herman. We stayed at the Hermann Hotel. It was
fairly cheap, but not the most accomidating! Very small room. But if just need a shower and a bed, it works.
