me and my 9 y.o g'son (one of six g'sons) rode the katy trail today from defiance to weldon springs and back. even though we did not go very far (6 miles round trip) it was a great day for it, and we had fun. we then stopped off at the katy bike rental in defiance. the owner was fantastic. very courteous, friendly, and helpful. we had some ted drewes ice cream and drinks, then sat at one of the picnic tables in the yard and enjoyed them. if ever in or through defiance, stop off at the katy bike rental. smacks are great and service is fantastic.
