Good beer however if you want food stay home because their service
sucks you can't even order food to go and eat it there they don't care
about customers and apparently they have never taken a business
management course because they are loosing alot of good money by
not serving their customers

A couple of my friends and I ate their while staying at the Red Brick Inn. They recommended the Brewing Co. and we were very pleased. The food was great. The service was a little slow but ok. We were there earlier this month and it was slow everywhere. We were biking the Katy Trail. I would go back.

I thought their food was pretty bad when I was there, but the beer was great.

Their rootbeer is some of the best.

I went to the Augusta Brewing Co. with some friends on a Saturday night in October for a beer which was good. It was very hectic, but hey had a seperate section for dinner guest which is understanable due to the vast nature of the facility. I had no problem placing my drink orders with the bartender, he was efficient enough. Obviously this is a seasonal facility, and I'm sure there is a method to the madness involving staffing/weather.

The beer has always been great and the food has always been acceptable to me. On a recent ride, some of the group commented on recent improvements in the food. This is our primary lunch destination when we are riding in this area, which is at least a couple times per year for the past several years.

I agree with Dean, this place is always a favorite. Food and beverages are always great!! Maybe the others don't understand that there isn't a regular wait staff. If you want something, you have to get up and get it!

I had heard it is under new ownership now an the new owners are learning customer service. I was through Augusta on the 4th of July and many dry and hungry holiday riders were very disappointed when they saw it was closed. It is a popular waterhole turnaround for riders from the St. Charles area.

My girlfriend and I stopped for lunch here in June. It was one of our favorite stops on the Katy Trail. We split a brisket sandwich, and it was great. The beers were good and cold. We ate at the bar, and didn't have any complaints about service. Large fans in the outside covered bar area made the 100+ temps tolerable. We will definitely go back.

This place is about the beer-- if you love beer, don't miss it. The food is fine- I had a bratwurst that was a great compliment to the ale (a warm or toasted bun would have been nice...) and the mustard is GOOD. The service is fine...definitely slow if a big group comes in, but enjoy the convenience to the trail, the nice atmosphere and (did I mention?)- its about the beer!!
