H.S. Clay house is a great place to stay. 4 of us fat guys stayed there June 2nd 2009. The owners Allan and Lee were great. Allan is a European trained chief who made great chocolate chip cookies when we got there. Their was a chocolate in our individual rooms with a glass of Port wine. Later we got in the hot tub and had some welcome punch which is an mixed wine type drink, very good. Slept like a baby and breakfast was amazing. If you are in Augusta on bike, or with wife I highly recommend staying here.

H. S. Clay House is a fabulous B&B. We arrived after our longest day on the bike (80 miles) to a super comfortable and ultra-equipped house! The hostess was very kind and did anything we needed to be comfortable. The place has a pool, hot tub, fire pit, tabletop shuffleboard, snacks, drinks, sitting rooms, comfortable beds... I could go on and on. It's very beautiful, very well maintained, and the hospitality was amazing. I highly recommend the H. S. Clay House!
