Does anyone have suggestions for mini golf or putt-putt golf* courses between St. Charles and Columbia (or a few miles off the path along this stretch)? We are touring this portion of the trail and state next month and we love mini golf! We would especially be interested in courses with obstacles, like loops and waterfalls.

Any recommendations are appreciated!

Happy Trails,
Wendy

*My husband says "mini golf" is just like regular golf, but on a smaller scale; while "putt putt" has novelty obstacles like loop-de-loops and windmills, etc. Of all the people we have mentioned this to, only one other person seems to make this distinction, but I suppose that is beside the point; just an interesting thing to stir up conversation....

I believe there is still one at the Turkey Creek Golf Center about 1/2 mile from the Jeff City trailhead.

Soooo....last year on the Elroy-Sparta when my riding partner went over the handlebars loop-de-loop.....she did a putt putt?

I'll tell her in the big scheme of things, that was just a novelty obstacle! Thanks!
