If you're passing through Sedalia I'd like to throw out two recommendations. First, the Sedalia House Bed and Breakfast is a delightful place to hang your hat overnight. The hosts are charming, facility is clean and accomodating, and breakfast is delicious. Second, check out the new Napolis Italian Restaurant (formerly Red Apple). The food is very good and prices are reasonable. While there I even caught some live music.
