I plan on leaving my car at the St. Charles Trailhead and taking the Page bridge to the Creve Coure connecting trail, but what is the easiest way in the park to get on Marine drive to head southeast? Thank you for your help.

follow the path to creve coeur park and ride straight until you hit the parking lot. make a right once you get to the main street and follow it all the way to the top (about 1/2 mile). the intersection at the light is dorsett and marine.

See this map for the trail around the south side of Creve Coeur Lake that Jay is describing:

Note: The hill up Marine Avenue is not for the faint of heart. It is steep, has lots of motor vehicles on pleasant, weekend days, and has no shoulders.

I guess this shows the road looping, I'm assuming that is into the parking lot. Thanks for your help, hopefully Marine won't be too busy on a Sunday afternoon to make it down to Amtrak
