Stayed at the Parkfield Inn Clinton the night before hitting the trail through to Machens. The Inn was clean, modern, comfy and spacious. Enjoyed dinner at El Camino Real directly behind the Inn and the free breakfast got us started in the morning. Bring your swimsuit - nice pool and hot tub. Reasonably priced and close to the trail, we highly recommend.

We stayed at the Parkfield before hitting the trail on April 18th. This is a fabulous family owned hotel and the rooms were big and bed was super comfy. The breakfast was great, too. Highly recommend the Parkfield.

What a wonderful place to stay before hitting the trail! Clean, great breakfast, comfy beds, just a really nice place that doesn't charge an arm and leg to stay there. Would stay again for sure.
