My husband and I recently completed riding the Katy Trail from St. Charles to Clinton and back to St. Charles. We stayed at the Concord Hill B&B both going west and back east. It is a beautiful house with great accommodations. Big surprise was the concert George and Wade gave us after dinner (which George cooked!) on our second stay. It even came with good draft beer and wine. Definitely worth the 1.5 mile bike uphill from the trail.

We've stayed there before, and yes, the music and beer were fantastic! As well as the jacuuzi

This was our favorite night of the trip, and is well worth the modest effort to go slightly off the trail. The building is fastidiously clean and well maintained. The bed linens and towels are high quality. Rooms are spacious. We rolled in, had a gourmet meal with a bottle of wine, and soaked our muscles in the hot tub. Maggie and George were gracious, helpful, and accommodating. This place is perfect for cyclists.

Thank you Maggie for your kindness, all the little detail things and for graciously accommodating my silly requests and quirks. To me this place was a hidden treasure. It was beautiful inside and out, the food was perfect, the hot tub and the porch were just what I needed after a long hike. I appreciated the organic foods and toiletries and the notes from Maggie. Maggie was the first and only person on the trail who offered to carry my pack to my room -- she also came and got me at the trailhead at my request (I don't know that this is a service she provides everyone, but I asked bc I knew I'd be tired). Very peaceful here with lots of things to do indoors and out (she had games and common areas) it was amazing.

Spent one night at the Concord Hill B&B with friends while riding the Katy Trail. George and Maggie are great, the Inn is large and comfortable, and the food is fabulous. We will look forward to staying here the next time through!
Do call ahead and get directions from the trailhead in Peers, as it's not self-evident which fork in the road to take.

On of my favorite places on our whole trip. George and Maggie were super friendly and welcoming. George took us on a great tour of the wineries and we had a blast. The rooms were realy nice and the house was absolutely beautiful. The hot tub was a life saver along with a cold German beer. We were lucky enough to be part of a bluegrass jam session that was really cool. They had some serious pickers. Both dinner and breakfast were amazingly delicious. In fact breakfast lasted me till dinner that day. Just what my body needed-some home cooking. I would recommend this to anyone passing through peers.

After a day biking the Katy Trail, Maggie and George graciously made us feel welcome in their beautiful home. Maggie greeted me with a cold beer as I had requested. The gourmet salad and pasta dinner after a much needed shower on the deck was delicious. (The wine from the cellar was not bad either!)The breakfast the next morning was more than we expected-the egg casserole fresh from their amusing chickens! The accomodations were clean and the described "loft" area perfect for a family stay and much nicer than anticipated. Next year when my daughter and I do this again we will plan our trip around our stay at Concord Hill B&B. Thanks Maggie, George, and dog Jesse, for making our biking trip memorable!

Staying at Concord Hills is like being with relatives...that you really like! We took a nap after our days ride but awoke to the aroma of a great pasta dinner. We had our dinner on the porch, listened to live bluegrass music and were sent on our way in the morning with a more than filling breakfast. Relaxed, low key and comfortable, these owners seem to enjoy their guests and much as we enjoyed them.

We stayed here on 5-22-09. Wow! Where Maggie and George great!! They picked us and our bikes up at the bottom of the hill. That evening, they fixed us a great pasta dinner with salad. That night, we were entertained by George and his bluegrass band!! Then, the next morning, the breakfast included bacon, sausage, eggs, toast, potatoes, juice and coffee! Great hosts!! We will definately stay there again when we bike the Katy Trail. Thanks!! :-)

This place has fairly new owners Maggie and George. We had picked up steaks at Loutre Market which we grilled on their grill, while Maggie made us a salad and shared a bottle of wine, that we picked up in Herman. After dinner we sat on the porch swing and watched the hummingbirds and enjoyed the scenery. Then after dark we relaxed in the hot tub under the stars. We had a wonderful breakfast included fried potatoes with eggs, plus. This was our last night on the trail and the best night we had. Thank you Maggie (George, we are looking forward to meeting you next time.)

We stayed at the Concord Hill B&B after a long ride on the Katy Trail. We had ridden over 70 miles, it was getting late, and we were ready for the hot tub when we got there! They were extremely nice, and actually drove and picked up our dinner (at the only restaurant open, in a nearby town) while we relaxed in the hot tub. The breakfast the next morning was outstanding also.

The Concord-Hill Bed and Breakfast, right near Peers & Marthasville is very nice and quiet. Has it's own wine cellar and hot tub! Owners are very nice and great cooks!!!

This was a nice B & B. We have never stayed in a Bed and Breakfast before but this will set a high standard for us. For less than $100 for the night you get to stay in a warm bed, soak in a hot tub and meet some great people (Vicki and Tom). This was great after a long days ride on the trail.
