What would the cost from Sedalia to Clinton for two riders and their bikes?

Used Jerry of this (aka victory Shuttle). Would not recommend. His vehicle , bike rack, and physical condition are all inadequate for shuttling passengers and bicycles safely from one destination to another.

Shirley on 09/29/2015 07:29 PM:
We also used the Victory shuttle service from Sedalia to Clinton. We agree that his bike rack and his physical condition were not adequate for this service. Though he claimed to know the area, he drove down the wrong lane on a street in the beginning of our trip. Needless to say, we were very thankful when we arrived at our destination safely.

Jerry is not capable of lifting a bicycle or taking a bicycle off a bike rack by himself nor can he apply the multiple bungie cords to hold the bikes without YOUR help. He is a dangerous driver that must be prompted to slow down for stopping traffic. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this service.

Just called B & L Shuttle. He has a new vehicle and doesn't have a bike rack for it, so he isn't providing shuttle rides at this time. He doesn't know if he will do it in the future.

Susan from Hermann on 01/10/2014 07:43 AM:
Hi I would like rates, information for 5-10 people/bikes to transport to Clinton from Sedalia on May 8th at 9:00 a.m.

Anonymous on 01/10/2014 09:02 AM:
I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest contacting them directly. I'm fairly certain that they could answer your questions and as a bonus let you know if they are already booked for that date or not. You would have to contact them to make the reservation anyway, so why not just call them to begin with?

Pseudio on 01/12/2014 07:55 AM:
Well Susan there is enough time, 4 months, to drive over and talk to them in person. That ain't no limb.

I was wondering, how much is it for 15 boys and 3 adults with their bikes and other gear?

MidSouth from Rogersville, MO on 10/10/2013 08:04 PM:
I would suspect you need to contact the shuttle company to get any type of price quote or availability.

MidSouth from Rogersville, MO on 10/11/2013 12:28 AM:
The shuttles I have seen are mainly mini vans with a bike rack. With the number of bikes, gear, and riders you are talking about, I'm sure it would be many hundreds of dollars cheaper for you to rent a trailer and provide your own support.

Doug from Bluffton on 10/11/2013 06:24 AM:
There are some that have 20 passenger bused with trailers for bikes and gear, but as Mid first mentioned it is always best to contact the business first as they are in a much better position to answer your questions about their business than readers here.

Troop 72 on 10/11/2013 04:09 PM:
Thank you guys I will contact the shuttle service.

Storms forced me off the trail for a day. B&L showed up on time and took me to Boonville. Nice Service, they get 5 Stars.

Wil on 08/02/2011 01:32 PM:
Cannot recommend B & L Shuttle. The driver showed up late and took nearly a half hour to untangle the straps on his broken down strap-on bike rack. If I had not assisted, it would have taken an hour just to get the bikes loaded. The straps on the rack were all broken so he had to bungie the bikes on. For a company that promotes itself as a bike shuttle, this company does not have the equipment to do it right.

Juro from Olathe, ks on 10/16/2008 12:38 PM:
Is it possible to be picked up in Boonville? We will be biking tomorow from Sedalia to Boonville and will need transportation to come back in the afternoon.

Trek on 10/16/2008 01:24 PM:
It may be best to directly contact the shuttle service and ask them about it.....probably no one here gonna act on their behalf and give you a lift.

Doug from Bluffton on 10/16/2008 09:07 PM:
Right on Trek. People this has been covered before! If you want to know what service a business can provide then contact THEM! Asking here makes as much sense as walking down the street shouting at windows to find out if the laundry is open. Call the business. They will be more than willing and able to give you accurate answers to your questions about them.

barf from clinton on 10/20/2008 06:17 PM:
Hay Guys do you think Juro might have just wanted the phone number of a local shuttle service and being from another state, not having that info available to them.

Gary near Tebbetts from Tebbetts on 10/20/2008 07:59 PM:
Ahhhhhhh, How about clicking on "Plan a Ride" in the above menu bar, and picking the shuttle box as one of the plan options?

Ane from Overland Park KS on 05/03/2009 10:36 AM:
Jeeeezzzz, I thought people who used the Katy Trail were nice?? How about helping the guy out instead of taking his head off. Some of us are new to this, you snobs.

David in StL from St. Louis on 05/05/2009 08:31 AM:
Snobs? There are several resources available on this website to plan a trip down the Katy Trail. From the home page, there is a purple-colored bar running across the page horizontally, with several options:

1. The second one is "Towns & Services." Click on that option, and scroll down to "Boonville." Click on the word "Boonville" and there is a company listed with the telephone number.

2. From the previous page, the third option on the purple-colored bar is "Plan a Trip." This really is a great way to find everything someone would need to bike/hike the Katy Trail.

Though I would never discourage anyone from posting to the forum, I am not sure why you replied to a conversation from October 16th (last reply was October 20th) of last year. A point worth noting is that you are the only one who has resorted to name calling. Please think about what you write before you click on the green "Submit Comment" button.

Good luck on your ride.

Yea....gotta love it when an old thread is dug up just for sake of flame throwing. Isn't letting someone know how to get accurate information helping them out?

I am happy they are available anytime. I needed a very early pick up and they were there quickly and very reasonably priced!

PJA from St. Louis MO. on 06/23/2007 09:02 PM:
We had a very pleasent experience with the B&L Shuttle service on the evening of June 20, 2007. Bob met us at the train staion in Sedalia in his van with bike rack attached. He was prompt and checked on our progress a couple of times by cell phone during our train ride from Kirkwood Mo. to Sedalia. He drove us to our hotel in Clinton and helped unload our bikes. The price was right, Bob was friendly, and most of his jokes were good.
